A pig from different perspective / Świnia z innej perspektywy
Just for today let’s think about something, what is obvious to most of us from a totally different perspective and have fun doing it.
Let’s take a pig. I have just read an article about a certain piggy, who lives in a flat on the 11th floor in Polish city of Opole and is doing very well. The piggy is smaller, than her companions from farms, actually is a special breed of English mini pigs. According to the article I read, a pig is on the fourth place in mammals intelligence hierarchy after the human. Before there are orang-utans and dolphins. Apparently even dog’s recognising senses aren’t as advanced as the pig’s.
The piece about the mini pig not only made me smile, but also inspired me to look at all pigs from a bit different perspective than I would normally do -(schnitzel).
A few months ago Polish news showed a breeding pig named Blondi, who escaped from her barn in the middle of a deep winter and kept on running off fast like leopard from the local police who tried to chase her unsuccessfully for approximately 3 hours. She eventually got caught, but making them work hard for it and became a little celebrity afterwards. The pig ended up in a special animal farm park, to have a nice relaxing life.
How bizarre... some people wouldn’t have the courage to set themselves free from the life situation they hate and a pig could!
Perhaps, we shall change the saying “Dirty as a pig” to “Brave as a pig”?
Now, let’s put the pig back on the plate and analyze her as a source of meat in the world view.
Years ago I heard from a Moroccan guy, that the Muslim people don’t eat pork, because “it’s bad” and he claimed, that if women eat pork meat, they will get a certain disease on their legs…
My mum told me once a story that she heard from her acquaintance, whom family had one pig, when she was a child. It was during 2WW and her family had to wander around with the pig, when hiding from the Nazis. The animal was very much liked by her and the whole family postponed killing her several times. One day, with the broken heart they had to decide for the pig to go under the knife, cause they needed food. They did so, however my mum’s acquaintance couldn’t swallow a tiny piece of it.
Have you got emotional? If you didn’t it’s OK, Buon Appetite, but eat the pork with a smile on your face and the joy that you are shovelling an intelligent animal :)

10 Commandments of a Modern Westerner / 10 Przykazań Nowoczesnego Człowieka Zachodu
I. If
you need an advice with regards to your relationship keep your ears
open, because your single friends or those who are in an unhappy
relationship will give you plenty. In fact, they know better than
anyone else, what you should do with your partner.
II. If
you want to make lots of contact with people and experience a sense
of belonging stay on FB and other social media as much as you can.
Don’t waste the time for phone calls to people and meeting them in
person. You will feel, that you belong to an unspecified group of
people, who don’t give a monkey’s for who you really are.
III. If you want to travel to a certain country and check on its safety first ask people who have never been there. They surely know, so they’ll tell you how dangerous it is. This is why they never went there! No, they’re not paranoid. They’re just well informed. From the news.
and those children from the 3rd world countries that you watch on the TV when lying on the sofa all evening have no bloody clue!
X. If
you have a doubt for a minute, whom this world should run around go
and take a look in the mirror.
Now,
if you didn’t go, you’re fine ;)

VII. Jeśli
chcesz podszkolić twoje zdolności radzenia sobie z problemami kup
sobie inspirujący stymulator zwany alkoholem. Pij go codziennie,
przynajmniej w postaci szklanki wina lub dwóch. Rozwiąże on twoje
problemy być może nawet na cały dzień! Jutro znowu wypijesz i w taki

In the conflict / W konflikcie
At some point, we
all have falling-outs with our friends. Sometimes it can cause the end
of the friendship, sometimes the friendship freezes for a while before
getting back to normal. Sometimes, the friendship becomes even stronger
after a conflict.
I am not talking about situations where your “friend” deeply damaged your trust by having an affair with your partner or stealing your money. These situations are not falling-outs, they are atrocities. People that commit such acts can't often be described as real friends anyway, because their actions were only driven by their (sometimes unconscious) selfishness. Such situations are complex, but the good thing is that they are also black & white. Shit happens, and now you know who they are you don’t have to think too much about it. You learn from the experience and move on.
In everyday life however, we can go through various smaller and bigger conflicts with everybody and this unfortunately does not exclude our friendships. When we fall out with someone the first thing to check is whether the conflict we have is based on out personality clashes, different expectations towards each other, or maybe it is an accumulation of negative regrets and emotions that we or our friend feels.
In fact, numerous times the clash comes “out of the blue” and we don’t realise that it resulted from an accumulation of past negative events that were not addressed.
Before getting carried away, it is important to think for a moment about the basis of the conflict. Depending on the kind of person we are, but also on our present state of mind we can analyse the situation or use our intuition. There is no wrong way. The crucial thing is to be fully honest with ourselves and be open to talk things through with our friend. Certainly, if you both value each other, then there shouldn’t be a problem in meeting up and talking.
Maybe you will come to the view that your friend is the one to blame. However, there is no such situation when one person only is responsible for creating a disagreement. We are also part of the problem, even when it’s by allowing someone to interact with us in a way that we don’t like.
A “healthy” argument should end up with a good conversation once the emotions are over and side A should say: “I am sorry, I shouldn’t have said that, although I also felt hurt when I noticed/heard ..." (your judgement, words, etc). Side B should say: “I am sorry too, as I didn’t realise, that...” Of course the usage of words depends who we are and whom we talk to. Some people get the directness, some people will push it away and only accept the diplomacy. Again, it is for our intuition to suggest the right wording or for our mind to analyse what we already know about our friend and use the expressions accordingly. Watch out ego though, because it likes to mess around with relationships.
Conflict is an opportunity to really get to know the person we are in a relationship with and that applies equally to friendships, romantic or work relationships. However, most importantly we learn about ourselves and how we react to certain people. Those are the answers for us about who we are. It’s up to us to draw conclusions of who we want to become and how to get there. We are responsible for ourselves and we are free to choose what we do. Sometimes it’s hard to be responsible but it’s always worth it.
The responsibility is freedom to choose the action and take it.

WERSJA POLSKA / POLISH VERSION
Czasami doprowadziły one do zakończenia
wróciło do normy.
Inny
We
wszystkich wspomnianych konfliktowych sytuacjach, zanim emocje wezmą
My też jesteśmy częścią
temat itp. Strona B powinna w takim wypadku powiedzieć “Ja też
przepraszam, nie zdawałam sobie z tego sprawy...” Oczywiście to
Takie sytuacje wzbogacają przyjaźń i
zawsze jednak warto.
Odpowiedzialność
to wolność wyboru ruchu, który wykonamy.
