"Dance for Burma" Oh what a day!

Oh what a day it was! But before we start with watching the photos and counting dances we made, I'd like to thank to all my friends and their friends for coming over to support our cause. Thank you for being able to make it! You are great!
For those who for whatever reason couldn't be here with us I'll tell you a bit about it by in the photo story below:

Special thanks to this lovely lady on the photo who kindly brought her camera (sadly mine was stolen a couple of weeks ago) and took the photos on our event.

Thank you! x

The donation still continues this week and we'll keep on dancing for love, freedom and fun!

Dance for Burma - it's tomorrow! - Watch the video! / Tańcząc dla Birmy - już jutro! Zobacz Video!

The preparations to our fund raising event Dance for Burma are on speeding up. I learnt a brief history of Burma (Myanmar) to tell it to our guests and spent last Monday eve practising a short dance routine for our dance class.
My "co-worker" friend Louise has managed to raise already over 100 quid and we haven't even started!
I've never done such a thing before so you can imagine how excited I am!
My dear readers, especially for you today, so that you can't say that this was just a short post with nothing special in it, there you go, the best piece of the whole teaching experience for me - our dance class with the "older" students:) (The class on the photo is with the little ones:)

Watch the video below the Polish version

WERSJA POLSKA / POLISH VERSION

Przygotowania do naszej imprezy charytatywnej przyśpieszają.

If you wish to join us on our event and have some fun by participating in our mini dance class or simply want to donate for the school in IBEC monastery please get in touch with me as soon as you can! (leave a comment or send me an email - listed on your right).

Business English & Cultural Awarness Event / Business English i Świadomość Kulturowa

Tonight I had the pleasure of participating in a very interesting event. I was invited to a Business English and Intercultural Awareness Open Day. The meeting was held by a very friendly couple - Dagny and David - who both have very multi-cultural roots. They have lived abroad for many years running their business, Hermes Language Consultancy, the concept of which is teaching English to business executives. During the time of their study the 'students' are accomodated in Dagny and David's immaculately-decorated, beautiful house, which was designed for this purpose. It was a great enterprise, with exhilarating conversations and inspiring people.

Take a look! The photos were taken on a mobile phone (let's make it clear, the mobile phones should be only for calling people not for taking photos!) however the atmosphere was the best ever!

Dagny and Edson - having a great time
